Maersk Line plans services between Nhava Sheva and Jebel Ali

Maersk Line has announced that enhancements and adjustments which, it is claimed will throw new intra Gulf trade opportunities between Nhava Sheva and Jebel Ali.
The port rotation of the revised ME1 service will be Felixstowe (UK), Zeebrugge (Belgium), Bremerhaven (Germany), Rotterdam (the Netherlands), Aqaba (Jordan), Jebel Ali (the UAE), Bandar Abbas (Iran), Jebel Ali (the UAE), Nhava Sheva (India), Pipavav (India), Salalah (Oman), Jeddah (Saudi Arabia) and Algeciras (Spain).
Under this rotation, the first ME1 eastbound vessel, Maersk Kampala, will sail out of Felixstowe on March 6th 2009.
Similarly, the new rotation of the shipping line’s ME 3 services will be Gioia Tauro (Italy), Algeciras, Tangier (Morocco), Tarragonas (Spain), Gioia Tauro (Italy), Port Said (Egypt), Salalah, Jebel Ali, Nhava Sheva, Jebel Ali and Port Said.
Maersk Line added that, under this revised rotation the first ME 3 westbound vessel, Nedlloyd Barrentz, will sail out of Jebel Ali on March 16th 2009.
