NCC may give up terminal plans

Russia''s National Container Company (NCC) could give up its plans to construct Latvia''s largest container terminal in Riga''s Kundzinsala, SKRIN Newswire reported.
According to media reports the investor has decided to revise its plans of container business development in Riga.
The Constitutional Courts ruling in the case has virtually suspended the NCC''s container terminal project, which foresees construction of a terminal with the annual capacity of two million TEUs.
The situation has been further aggravated by the economic problems in Latvia.
